A Complete Life Change!
A life change can be very exciting, but also scary! Learning frugal ways to help my family live a healthier life while creating sustainable habits is one of my goals. For some time now I have been studying ways to minimize and live a much simpler life. At the same time that really appeals to me, but I don’t want to be without anything, which is where the Hygge lifestyle really appeals to me. At What a Whimsical Life you will see me discussing both of these lifestyles as I enjoy a combination of both.
So much more time for things I love.
Growing sprouts and fermenting is something I have been paying with and I love it! There are many other things that I enjoy that can help my family like gardening, and cooking. One of my new hobbies is driftwood designs which I will have in my Etsy Shop, Whimsical Life Designs, soon. Photography is something I have always loved and especially the editing aspect of it. Graphic design is something that stemmed from my photography editing and also from digital scrapbooking. Making digital scrapbooking kits is something I really enjoy, and they can be found on my Etsy shop, Whimsical Life Designs now. Reading is something I really enjoy in my down time, and also cuddling with my three bearded dragons.
Life is too short, so I have decided to make a life change.
Recently I resigned from my full-time job as a Certified Medical Assistant at a Medical Group in my home town. Continuing on the path I was on would have been an excellent lifelong career, but I wanted to peruse my dreams and to work at our family bookstore, Books ‘N’ Bears, part-time. This will leave me plenty of time to see if any of my hobbies can become more than a hobby.
I am beginning a new chapter in my life. I am not sure what will be behind the next door and I find that very exciting!
